Located in Asia, close to Africa and relatively closer to Europe and Australia, Dubai is one of the most visited and popular destinations among tourists lately. We probably all know someone who has been to the city with the tallest building in the world or is eager to visit it.
In 2015, this glorious sand surrounded city welcomed 14.5 million visitors and is well on its way to reach 20 million in 2020, the year when it will host the World Expo. We can’t help but wonder, what makes Dubai so attractive and irresistible?
The city is truly blessed with long stretched beaches that tourists hit throughout the year. Its coastline has also been largely extended by building projects like The Palm, a manmade group of 3 islands and others still in construction. Despite the hot weather Dubai beaches simply cannot be beaten for its convenience. You can enjoy swimming pools, waterslides, lounging in the sun or at the restaurants, a range of water sports and many other facilities. They all appeal to the tourists and of course, everything is covered in pure luxury.
Dubai is home to the world’s most luxurious hotels and the one and only 7-star hotel in the world – “Burj Al Arab”. You can imagine what kind of experience and service guests encounter here. The city is also known for some of the unique tourist attractions, such as the “BurjKhalifa”, the world’s tallest building, the biggest and most exclusive shopping malls “Dubai Mall” and ”Mall of Emirates”, the world’s largest aquarium, and much more. Certainly its hotels and tall buildings are one of the top reasons for Dubai being such a popular tourist destination and why people keep coming back to it.
This exclusive destination offers real snow skiing in one and riding sand dunes in the next moment. Tourists have an exclusively big choice of activities and it will definitely take more than one trip to explore all of the options. Swimming with dolphins, riding camels in the desert, embarking on a hot air balloon adventure, exploring the modern and beautiful Arabic architecture, are just some of the great activities Dubai offers.
With so much luxury and glamour we can without a doubt say that Dubai is a place where dreams become reality. It is completely understandable that Dubai with its subtropical climate, very little rain and clear blue skies is attracting more and more tourists every year.
Is Dubai in your travel calendar and what are you particularly excited about? In case you have already been to Dubai, what experience did you have?
